How The Bikery is responding to the

Covid 19 Pandemic

The spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to pose a significant health risk to our community. As a result, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners on Wednesday extended its local state of emergency declaration another week and adopted a "Safer At Home" Order for individuals, business owners, and any place of public assembly to slow the spread of the virus. The Order is effective starting Thursday, March 26, 2020, at 12 p.m. and will continue so long as there is a declared local state of emergency in Pinellas.

"It's important for us to flatten the curve of COVID-19 infections in Pinellas County while balancing the needs of our community and we are exercising every reasonable power to slow the spread," said Commission Chair Pat Gerard. "These actions, with the cooperation of our Pinellas residents and businesses, will help us prevent worse scenarios in the future."

Essential businesses may continue operations following the appropriate guidelines to the maximum extent possible.

At The Bikery we are committed to keeping our customers, our team members and our families safe and healthy.  We are carefully observing all the recommendations published by the CDC, OSHA and our County and State governments in helping to "Flatten the Curve" and give our health care pros a fighting chance to treat every single person who does get sick.  We would like nothing more than to give every one of our customers a big hug and have you spend all your free time keeping us company at the shop. . . but for the time being it makes a great deal of sense to keep our distance.

Here is what we are doing during this public health emergency:

Our Service Department is OPEN and we will doing everything we can to keep you rolling.  Please call (727) 826-0501 and make an appointment. . .
It would be VERY HELPFUL to fill out our online service request HERE.

The Coffee Bar is Closed.

We will not be doing any Bike Fitting.

Bicycle Rentals are suspended.

Group Rides are cancelled until we get the "All Clear" from the County or State.

We will be CLOSED on Mondays for the time being.  Our Saturday hours have been shortened to 10 to 5pm.

Our online store is open and we will be happy to deliver your purchases to you at curbside.  Just call (727) 826-0501 when you arrive and we will bring you your purchase right to your car.

We are limiting entry to the store to one customer at a time.  You will be asked to stay at the entry area and a team member will meet you and provide personal service in helping you to find the bicycle or accessory you are looking for.   If a customer is already in the store we will ask you to wait outside until the previous person has been helped.

We are cleaning, cleaning, cleaning and doing everything we can to make sure you and your family will be enjoying our beautiful City and State by bicycle for years to come!

We love you Saint Pete and want every single one of you to weather this storm and ride with us again very soon!
